All drums are provided, all you need to do is turn up and be ready to have fun. You'll be in a group of up to 25 people who are mostly all beginners, so not only do you get to enjoy the music yourself, but you’ll also feel the excitement of playing as part of a group. The sound of everyone drumming together is something truly special.
Drumming has been at the heart of West African culture for centuries, used not just to make music but to connect communities, celebrate special moments and lift spirits. In this two-hour experience, a traditional African Master Drummer will guide the group through the techniques, rhythms and beats that make this style of music so powerful. A call and response style of teaching is used so even if you’ve never picked up a drum before, you’ll be able to copy the techniques and let the music take over.
The joy of drumming lies in its simplicity, once you find the beat, it’s impossible not to smile. Whether you’re buying for someone with a passion for music or treating yourself and friends, an African Drumming Experience offer something different, exciting and full of energy.
This is a shared experience so you'll be in a group of up to 25 people.
Available to book on the first Saturday of each month, 1pm to 3pm, with additional days per demand, subject to availability.

Your voucher is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
