Automatic transmission

The Ferrari 599, equipped with a V12 engine, is a stunning representation of Ferrari's long-standing tradition of creating powerful and luxurious grand tourers. Unveiled in 2006 as the successor to the 575M Maranello, the 599 boasts a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, a configuration favoured for its balanced weight distribution and classic sports car feel.

The heart of the Ferrari 599 is its 6.0-litre V12 engine, a masterpiece of engineering derived from the Enzo Ferrari, the company's flagship supercar. This engine delivers an impressive amount of power, making the 599 one of the most potent road cars in Ferrari's line up at the time. The power is managed by either a traditional six-speed manual transmission or Ferrari's F1-style automated manual gearbox, offering a choice between classic and modern driving experiences.

The design of the 599 is a perfect blend of elegance and aggression, characterised by its sleek curves and muscular stance. The car's aerodynamics were heavily influenced by Ferrari's F1 expertise, featuring innovations like the 'flying buttress' rear pillars, which improve downforce without the need for a rear wing.

Inside, the 599's cabin is a haven of luxury, where fine leather and high-quality materials meet modern technology and craftsmanship. The interior design focuses on driver engagement, with all controls strategically placed for easy access, ensuring that the driving experience is both comfortable and exhilarating.

The Ferrari 599 stands as a testament to Ferrari's ability to combine raw power with refined design and luxury, creating a grand tourer that offers an exhilarating driving experience while remaining comfortable and practical for everyday use. Its blend of performance, style, and comfort ensures its place as one of the most desirable Ferraris in the modern era.

Ferrari 599 supercar track days are an exhilarating opportunity for enthusiasts to experience the full potential of one of Ferrari's most powerful grand tourers in its natural habitat - the racetrack. The Ferrari 599, with its formidable 6.0-litre V12 engine, showcases its prowess on the track, delivering breathtaking acceleration and a symphony of engine sounds that is pure music to any car lover's ears. Participants get to explore the limits of this automotive masterpiece, feeling the raw power and precision handling that is synonymous with the Ferrari brand.

Guided by professional instructors, drivers can hone their skills, mastering the art of navigating corners and straights while experiencing the unique thrill that comes from driving a Ferrari at high speeds. Supercar track days in a 599 are not just about pushing a car to its limits; it's about connecting with the soul of a vehicle that embodies the essence of Italian engineering and passion for motorsport, making it an unforgettable experience for any serious car enthusiast.
