The Main Event

Stay in a three-star hotel that is contemporary and inviting and is conveniently located in the city centre. Or one of the lovely four star hotels such as Bailbrook House, one of just two Grade II-listed hotels, beautiful Wentworth House, Francis, Coombe Grove, The Bird, or Hilton Bath City to experience the city's exquisite Georgian architecture. You will always receive excellent service, a restful night's sleep, and a delectable breakfast.

If you can pull yourself away from the hotel surroundings, then you get the chance to see the well-preserved Roman Baths which are Bath's most famous attraction.

The Roman Baths are a must-see since they contain numerous authentic Roman structures, objects, and fascinating stories. A guided audio tour is available, and author hero Bill Bryson provides additional audio commentary.

Who Can Go

Customers are allocated one of the hotels subject to availability.
This booking is non-refundable, non-amendable once your experience has been confirmed.
Toilets are available at the Roman Baths.
Only backpacks up to a maximum of 30 litres are permitted to be brought into the Roman Baths. Luggage, including large rucksacks and pull along cases are not permitted on site but there are a number of storage facilities available across the city.
Audioguides are available in 12 languages as are printed language sheets in a wide range of languages (English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish).
Because the Roman Baths are six metres below street level, there are a number of steps throughout the site. To access the entire site, you will still need to climb some steps.

What about Insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

What type of hotel will I be staying in?

Hotels featured in this experience are allocated to you, subject to availability, under a non-amendable and non-refundable basis once booked.

You will be staying in either a 3* or a 4* hotel depending on what you have selected.

Can I stay an extra night or add another person to the stay?

Extra nights are available subject to availability for a supplement. Extra adults/children can be added subject to availability for a supplement.

Is breakfast included with my hotel stay?

Unless specified, breakfast is not included.

How do I book this experience?

You will need to fill out a booking form with the experience provider. This form will ask you for details such as your contact details, the name of the attraction you want to visit and whether you'd like this on the day of arrival or the following day, the number of rooms required, your preferred check in dates, and your WonderDays voucher code.

By submitting this form your WonderDays vouchers will become non-refundable and cannot be changed.

What happens next?

The experience provider will contact you within 72 hours to acknowledge your booking request. They will liaise with you to confirm entry to the attraction and which day you'd like to visit it on, as well as confirm your hotel location.

You will then be emailed a booking confirmation for your attraction and overnight stay. Please read this carefully as it will contain important information regarding your booking. Please keep an eye on your spam/junk folder in case your filter has placed them there.

When will I get my attraction tickets?

Your attraction tickets will be emailed to you within 48 hours of your arrival date, often sooner. These can be printed or shown on a mobile device.
